Tetris

This site wouldn't be complete without a Tetris game. This is a classic puzzle game where you have to slot together different shapes before they fill the screen.

The game of Tetris has been around since 1984 and it's considered a classic video game by many (me included).

It's all about combining the colored blocks and reducing the amount of blocks on the screen. The blocks pile up and you get rid of them by filling a row completely. When you do this that row will dissapear and everything drops down. The game is over when the blocks reach the top of the screen.

To play click on play and select a level to start at. Level 1 is obviously the easiest level to start at. Then use the arrow keys to move the blocks. The left and right arrow keys move the blocks left and right. The up arrow key rotates the blocks. The down arrow key drops the block faster.

On the top right it shows you the next block that is going to drop which gives you time to think about your strategy. The game displays how many lines or rows you've completed along with a score and what level you're at...
